Welcome back to school! This guide is meant to be a resource to help you get set up and prepare for a year teaching with CodeHS. Here are some helpful steps to make sure you’re ready for the year ahead.

Review the First Day Checklist

For a guide that will help you with your students on the first day of school, visit codehs.com/firstday.

Set Up Your New Courses and Sections

You can quickly create a section and choose a course to use with students from your Teacher Page. From your Courses page in the left-hand menu, you can manage, create, copy, and control the settings for all of your Courses.

  • Archive Last Year’s Sections: It's always nice to start the year with a clean slate! To help with this, your sections from last year should be archived.

    • You can retrieve these sections anytime - click here to learn how.

    • You can easily reuse courses from last year while still creating new sections - click here to learn how.
