The Sections app on CodeHS is where you can find links to all of your existing class Sections, create new Sections, and make changes to Section settings.

By default, when you log in to CodeHS you'll be taken directly to the Sections app. If you're viewing another page, you can always return to the Sections app by clicking on it from the left-hand navigation menu within the Classroom category:

The Sections app features three tools - My Sections, New Section, and Settings - which can be accessed using the tabs at the top of the page:

My Sections is the main page of the Sections app. Here you'll find an overview for each of your active Sections, including number of rostered students, active school year, the Course used, Free or Pro status, and the Class Code.

Click on a Section's title to go to the Roster app for that section:

Access additional options and features by clicking on the ". . ." to the right of a Section's title:

To view all archived and previous Sections, click Show Archived button next to the Sort dropdown menu. To return to viewing only active sections, click the button again:

Create a new Section by clicking on the New Section tab. From here, you'll be able to name the new Section and select the Course curriculum that it will use:

Within the Settings tool, you'll find information about your plan and license, as well as options to adjust various configuration settings for your Sections, including:

When you click on Settings, you'll automatically see the settings for whichever Section you most recently viewed on CodeHS. To switch between Sections, click on the dropdown in the top left corner and choose another Section:
