Is the Cyber Range required to teach the CodeHS AP Cybersecurity course?

The CodeHS Cyber Range is strongly recommended to provide students with the opportunity to practice AP Cybersecurity concepts. No, Cyber Range is not required to teach AP Cybersecurity. However, without it, students won't have access to the recommended hands-on lab activities that reinforce course concepts. For more info, check out our AP Cybersecurity and Cyber Range Webinar.

CodeHS and Cyber Range

Cyber Range challenges are built directly into the AP Cybersecurity course. Students launch challenges from their CodeHS assignments, complete them in Cyber Range, and their scores automatically sync back to the CodeHS gradebook.
