Overview
The CodeHS Cyber Range is a secure, simulated, and interactive environment for students to apply their cybersecurity skills through hands-on labs and simulations. In the Cyber Range, teachers can manage Cyber classrooms, preview and complete challenges, and view student progress.
Dashboard
The Cyber Range Dashboard shows teachers and students the total number of points earned through completing Cyber Challenges, number of badges earned, and progress within the AP Cybersecurity Challenge pathway:
Note: If the Challenges page is hidden for students, the AP Cybersecurity pathway will not appear.
Challenge Catalog
To navigate to the full Challenge Catalog, click on the Challenges tab:
Leaderboard
The Leaderboard tab is available to both students and teachers and displays the class leaderboard, ranked by total points earned. Teachers can choose to hide the leaderboard from students.

Managing Cyber Classrooms
Once a CodeHS Section is connected to the Cyber Range, a Cyber Range Classroom will be created within the Classes tab:
Class Settings & Progress
To navigate to a specific Cyber Classroom: from the Classes tab, click on the Progress & Settings button:
As students complete challenges, teachers will be able to view how many challenges each student has completed along with the total number of points earned from challenges. Additionally, teachers can configure the following settings:
Hide Hints: Students will not see or be able to use Hints within Challenges:
Hide Leaderboard: Students will not see the Leaderboard within their top navigation bar
Hide Learning Paths and Challenge Page: Students will not be able to see the full challenge catalog or the learning pathway on the Dashboard. Students will only be able to navigate to challenges through the Assignment within the CodeHS course or via a direct URL.
