Grade an individual student assignment

On CodeHS Free and Pro you have the ability to grade a single Assignment through the Grade Tab in the Code Editor and from the Assignments app. 

Steps to Grade a Single Assignment from Code Editor

  1. Go to the Roster App and select a student.

  2. Click on an Assignment.

  3. From the Grade tab, you can "Award Full Credit", select "Needs Work", give a custom score, add comments, or give the student a zero.

Pro Feature

With CodeHS Pro, you can quickly grade an assignment for multiple students from the Assignments app. 

Steps to Grade a Single Assignment from the Assignment Page

  1. Go to the Assignments App.

  2. Navigate to the Assignment you want to grade 

  3. Click on the Grading Icon 

  4. Select the student(s) you want to grade and submit the student grade: you can award full credit, give zero, reset code, or navigate to Fast Grade

From the Gradebook

You can also access this single Assignment grading page directly by clicking the By Assignment tab, or the Assignment name in the Gradebook.

You can switch the single assignment you are grading in the "By Assignment" tab by utilizing the Assignment drop-down menu and selecting a different assignment to grade from the list.
