The student settings page allows you to configure settings for individual students

Settings you can Configure:

  • Unassign/Assign Activities - This will completely remove the activity from the students assignment list for the course. (Pro Only)

  • Copy/Paste - You can adjust this setting to prevent students from copying and pasting to/from the editor for this assignment. (Pro Only)

  • Due Dates - Add or change an assignment due date for individual students. (Pro Only)

  • Access Controls - Set the visibility of assignments for students in a section. (Pro Only)

  • Allow Blocks - Turn on/off block programming capacity for individual students. (Free and Pro)

Configuring Settings from Student Assignments All Setting page:

From your roster page:

  1. Click on the gear icon next to the student's name.

  2. Control the settings for modules, lessons, or even specific assignments.

  3. Click the top left menu to view fewer settings.

Configuring Settings from the Assignments page:

  1. Select Assignments on the left hand navigation bar.

  2. Click the '...' beside the assignment name > choose "All Settings."

  3. Scroll down to Configure per-student > select the section the student is in.

  4. Configure the settings for different students.

Configuring Settings from the Course Settings page:

  1. Click Courses on the left hand navigation bar.

  2. Click on the gear icon for the course settings you would like to update.

  3. Select the section you want to update.

  4. Choose a student's name from the dropdown box on the right hand side.

  5. Update the student's settings.

  6. Switch to another student with the dropdown at the top of the page.

Configuring Settings from the Due Dates and Access Controls Page

From your Section page:

  1. Click Course Settings on the top navigation bar.

  2. Select Due Dates + Access Controls.

  3. Choose a student's name from the dropdown.

  4. Update the student's settings.

  5. Switch to another student with the dropdown at the top of the page.
