My QuizBuzzes

The My QuizBuzzes tab displays Global and Section QuizBuzzes. Global QuizBuzzes can be added to any of your sections, while Section QuizBuzzes can only be taken in the section they are assigned. You can also launch or start a QuizBuzz from this page or resume an In Progress QuizBuzz. If you’d like to Assign, Edit, Reset, Delete, or Preview a QuizBuzz, all of the above can be done within this tab.

Starting a QuizBuzz

Once a quiz is converted, it becomes a QuizBuzz that teachers control. Students will see a "waiting for the QuizBuzz" message until the teacher initiates the QuizBuzz. Teachers can start a QuizBuzz in three ways:

  • From the Assignments Page: Look for a "Start Game" button or similar option next to the QuizBuzz assignment.

  • From the Explore QuizBuzz tab: When previewing the QuizBuzz questions, a "Start QuizBuzz" button will be available.

  • From the AI Creator app: Look for the Convert to QuizBuzz or trophy icon option if you use this tool to create a quiz

Before the game begins, students and teachers will gather in a waiting room. If a student navigates away from the QuizBuzz page or is slow to join, the teacher can click "Push to Students" to bring them to the game. Once the game starts, the system will automatically push stray students into the game and continue to do so between each question.

Participating in a QuizBuzz

After the teacher starts the QuizBuzz, students can join and begin answering questions. Points are awarded for each correct answer, with more points awarded to students who answer quickly. This real-time feedback and scoring system encourages active participation and friendly competition.
