Finding Teacher Support Resources

Learn more about CodeHS Support and Teacher Communities

CodeHS offers direct support and a variety of resources to help teachers in the classroom. To find these resources: go to the left-hand navigation menu > look under the Support category > choose either Support Center, Community, Knowledge Base, Request Quote, License and Plans, or Discover Apps.

Support Center

The Support Center App is where you can find various topics for help and support, such as how to contact CodeHS Support, talk to an expert, request a demo, or access the Knowledge Base and Teacher Forum. You can click on any of the blue highlighted text under each topic to get directed to the corresponding resource.

Contact Us

You can contact our support team directly and ask them any questions you have about CodeHS. The Contact Us button will direct you to the blue support chat bubble at the bottom right of the page, which is available from any page on CodeHS.

Talk to an Expert

You can get in touch with an expert about CodeHS plans, curriculum, features, and more. You can also contact a CodeHS expert through this link.

Request a Demo

You can request a demo to see CodeHS tools and resources in action, and see how you can apply our curriculum to your class. You can also request a demo through this link.

Community

The Community App is where you can find several groups and communication channels to join. You can click on any of the blue highlighted text under each topic to get directed to the corresponding resource.

Note: Along with the Support Center app, the Teacher Forum can also be accessed through the Community app!

Facebook Group

The Facebook Group linked from the Community app is our main CodeHS Educators Facebook Group. This is an open group for all CodeHS educators to discuss how to best use CodeHS, along with other tips and tricks for your computer science classroom. CodeHS also has two similar Facebook groups that are not linked on the Community app, where educators can share CodeHS best practices for more specific topics: CodeHS Educators - AP CSA, and CodeHS Elementary Educators. Feel free to join these groups and connect with other teachers!

Teacher Forum

The Teacher Forum is a place where teachers can ask and answer questions with other teachers about curriculum, advice, lessons, and more! The support team actively monitors the CodeHS Forum to help answer questions as well. You can also access the Teacher Forum directly from this link.

Certified Educators

The CodeHS Certified Educator Program allows teachers to share their CodeHS experience and innovative teaching practices, and connect with other computer science teachers who are building successful computer science programs all over the world. You can also click this link to apply to this program.

CodeHS Slack Community

The CodeHS Slack Community is another place where teachers can ask questions and share tips. You can also join this community directly from this link.

Knowledge Base

The Knowledge Base is a collection of articles from the CodeHS team about advice, answers, tutorials, curriculum updates, and more! You can also access the Knowledge Base directly from this link, or by clicking Knowledge Base under the Support Category in the left-hand navigation menu:

Request a Quote

Interested in bringing CodeHS Pro to your school or district? CodeHS Pro provides all the tools and resources your school needs to support computer science teachers and students. If you are interested in CodeHS Pro, you can Request a Quote directly from this page.

License and Plans

The License and Plans tool allows you to view your existing License details and explore other CodeHS Plan options.

My Licenses

The My Licenses tool provides a full breakdown of your existing license including your School's License type, License Duration, School name, and District name.

Explore Plans

The Explore Plans tool lets you view and compare different CodeHS plans and all features. From here, you can also request a quote to upgrade or expand your license.

Discover Apps

Discover Apps is where you can view all CodeHS apps by category: Classroom, Assignments, Grading, Curriculum, PD, Support, and Other. You can also search for different apps on this page using the search bar at the top of the page.

If you click into the Favorite Apps tab at the top of the page, you'll find a list of apps that you have favorited:

You can favorite an app by clicking the star icon to the right of any app name on CodeHS:

After you favorite an app, the app will appear in the Favorite Apps tab, as well as in a Favorites category at the top of the left-hand navigation menu:

If you would like to remove an app from your Favorites, you can click the star icon next to its name again.
