The PD Membership app is the centralized hub for all of our Professional Development offerings. With CodeHS PD, teachers will build the knowledge and confidence to teach excellent computer science courses.

Please note: PD courses are an additional purchase and are not included in CodeHS Pro. A member of our team will enroll you in your PD course.

To navigate to the PD Membership app, click on Membership from the left-hand navigation menu underneath the PD category:

The PD Membership app features four tools, which can be accessed by the tabs at the top of the page: Home, Courses, Micro-credentials, and Certificates.

From the Home tool, you will see the current status of your PD membership, the most recent course you have made progress in, some of our upcoming PD events, and any micro-credentials you have taken. Use the All Courses and View all upcoming PD events buttons to see all courses and upcoming PD events.

In the Courses tool, you will see all of your current PD courses and you can enroll in more PD courses. CodeHS online PD courses include engaging learning modules that cover the basics of programming and best practices for teaching in a blended classroom.

To find a PD course, you can search by name using the search bar or filter the results by Tag. To enroll in a course, click the blue Enroll button:

CodeHS Micro-credentials provide educators recognition for the programming skills and knowledge they’ve gained in and outside the classroom. After successfully completing a CodeHS Micro-credential exam, teachers will receive a certificate of completion and a digital badge to include on a portfolio, resume, and email signature. In the Certificates tool, you will be able to view your PD Certificates of Completion. Teachers who complete 100% of their Professional Development course can view their Certificate of Completion. PD certificates of completion include the number of hours, date of completion, and a signature from the Director of PD at CodeHS. Learn more about the PD Certificate of Completion.
