There may be times when you would like to send lesson materials to students to either follow along, make up, or review a lesson. From the Ready-to-Go Lesson, it's easy to share the Google Slides document and the lesson video with students!

Sharing the Lesson Slides

To share slides (English or Spanish) with your students, you can follow these steps:

  1. Navigate to the lesson's page

  2. Scroll down to the Lesson Slides section and right-click on the green Open Slides button

  3. Select Copy Link Address

  4. Share the slides link with your students via your LMS, email, or network tools. These links are viewable even without being logged into a Google account.

Note: The slides at the top of each lesson page (slides with videos) aren't shareable.

Sharing Interactive Activity Links

You can follow the same steps above to send Interactive Activity links to students to complete on their devices as well.

Sharing Coding Instructions Slides

If you are looking to only share coding instruction slides to a student, some lessons now contain Printable Code Instructions. These shorter slide decks contain just the block coding instructions, which can be printed or sent digitally to students as well.

Sharing the Lesson Video with Students

Our Lesson videos include chapter markers and prompts for students in order to make them easy to follow. This is a good option over slides for students who do better with verbal instruction. Our Lesson Videos are hosted on Youtube.

Some school networks block Youtube, but allow access to the Youtube Kids app. Our videos are marked "made for kids" and uploaded to adhere to the standards for videos to be included in the app.

Note: Some videos may still be unavailable since Youtube uses automated tools to moderate what appears in the Youtube Kids app.
