How to Delete Modules, Lessons, and Assignments
With a few clicks, you can delete an entire module, lesson, or a specific assignment from your CodeHS Course.
Deleting Modules
To remove a module, click on your course, click on Assignments on the left side navigation panel. Next to the Module, you will see three dots; click on the "..." and select Remove to remove the entire module from the section.
Deleting Lessons
To remove a lesson:
Click on the module
Click "..." next to the lesson
Click Remove:
Deleting Assignments
To remove a specific assignment, click on the module and lesson in which it's located. Next to the assignment, click on "..." and select Remove.
Remove Videos from Courses
Teachers can select to remove all videos from a course and have students work through the rest of the curriculum. Please this function cannot be reversed and once videos are removed from a course they cannot be added back to a course.
To remove videos from Assignments:
Go to the Courses tab
Click Course Settings
Scroll to "Remove Videos"
Click the orange button "Remove Video"

Restoring Previously Deleted Assignments
1. Navigate to your Course Settings page
From your Courses page, click the gear icon to the right of the course name:
Or, from your Assignments page, click the Course Settings button in the top right corner of the page:
2. Access your discarded assignments
Open the Course Settings page.
Scroll down and click View Trash.
Click Restore next to the assignment you wish to restore.
Click View to see the restored activity in your Assignments page.
