Sections on CodeHS can be co-taught by multiple teachers. Adding another teacher as a co-teacher to your Section will grant them access to view and grade student work. To share only Course content with another teacher, please refer to this help article: Sharing Course Content with Another Teacher πŸ“–

⚠️ Adding co-teachers is not allowed on some Pro Starter Licenses. See Plan Information for more detail and reach out to your Customer Success Manager or support@codehs.com if you have any questions.

Adding a Co-Teacher to Your Section

Teaching a CodeHS section requires a CodeHS teacher account. Co-teachers can sign up at codehs.com/signup/teacher.

πŸ’‘ If your Section is linked with Google Classroom, Clever, Canvas or another LMS, co-teachers need to be added to the LMS roster rather than through CodeHS.

  1. Navigate to your Section Settings by selecting the Settings tool at the top of your Sections app

  2. Under the "Roster Management" section, click the + icon to expand How teachers can join this section

  3. Select Invite Now and send your co-teacher an email invite or share the join link and the teacher join code

Accepting a Co-Teacher Invitation

Teachers will receive an email prompting them to accept the invitation. To accept the invitation, click the blue Accept Invitation button to join the section as a co-teacher. Teachers who have not yet created a CodeHS account, will be prompted to do so before accepting the invitation.
