With CodeHS Pro, you can now turn on Access Controls for individual students.
Access Controls allow you to set the visibility of assignments for students in this section. A Locked assignment cannot be accessed by students, while Available assignments can. If you set the visibility to Scheduled or choose a start or end availability date/time, then those assignments will only be available during the specified time range. Schedule or lock modules, lessons, and assignments to control when your students have access to them. To learn more, check out Access Controls.
Steps to Set Access Controls for an Individual Student:
From Student Settings Tool:
From your Roster app, click on the gear icon next to the student's name
Control the settings for modules, lessons, or even specific assignments
If you would like to view fewer settings, you can select which settings to edit in the top left menu
From the Access Controls and Due Dates Tool:
Navigate to your section from the Sections app
Click the Configure tool
Select Access Controls + Due Dates
Choose a student's name from the dropdown
Update the student's settings
Switch to another student with the dropdown at the top of the page
From the Courses App Settings:
Click Courses on the left-hand navigation bar
Click on the gear icon for the course settings you would like to update
Select the section you want to update
Choose a student's name from the dropdown box on the right-hand side
Update the student's settings
Switch to another student with the dropdown at the top of the page
