With our Clever LTI integration, you can seamlessly import your student roster and set up your CodeHS class with the Clever teacher library. No more wasted time at the start of class to create new student accounts and enroll students in the correct CodeHS section!

Creating your sections with Clever

1. Add a new Teacher Page for CodeHS

Navigate to Pages > My teacher Pages in the left navigation panel
Click on the blue Add button
Rename the page to CodeHS

2. Enable Permissions

From your CodeHS page, Click on the More page actions > Share Page
Select which students/classes you would like to access the CodeHS page
Click the blue Update button to confirm

💡 If you have a license with a student limit, you should remove the CodeHS icon from student visibility in Clever for any classes that will not be using CodeHS. If extra sections were created on CodeHS, you can archive them.

3. Add the CodeHS app

From your CodeHS page, Click on Add > App

Search for CodeHS and Click Install CodeHS

If this is your first time installing CodeHS you may be prompted to Allow CodeHS to access the following data from Clever: The first name, last initial, and grade of students you teach

Click the Selected Pages dropdown and select the Classes that you would like to access CodeHS

5. Once you click on the CodeHS icon, your CodeHS account, sections, and student’s CodeHS accounts will all be created and synced with Clever!

Teacher View

Sections linked to Clever will show a Clever icon.

After logging into CodeHS via the Clever Library / Portal:

To update or sync your roster:

If you ever make any updates to your roster on Clever (i.e. adding new sections or students), you can simply click on the Sync with Clever dropdown link to update your CodeHS roster.
