Accessing CodeHS During LMS Login Disruptions

Learn how to access CodeHS data without logging in to your LMS

Written by Mike Javor

We are aware of reports regarding issues affecting Canvas LMS.

CodeHS remains fully operational, and teachers and students can continue accessing CodeHS accounts, coursework, student progress, and grading data as usual.

While it appears many services may now be restored, we wanted to share additional guidance for schools and teachers in the event they temporarily lose access to an LMS integrated with CodeHS. For users who typically launch CodeHS directly through an LMS such as Canvas, the login process may look slightly different during any LMS-related disruptions.

Accessing CodeHS Directly

Teachers and students can continue accessing CodeHS directly at:

Users should log in using the same email address they typically use to access Canvas.

Login Troubleshooting for Teachers and Students

If users are unable to log in through Canvas SSO, they may still be able to log in directly to CodeHS using Google SSO with the same email address associated with their Canvas account.

If Google SSO is unavailable or does not work, users can reset their passwords using the links below:

Please note: students who do not have access to their email accounts may not be able to complete the password reset process themselves. In these cases, teachers can assist students by resetting passwords directly within CodeHS.

Student Progress, Coursework, and Grades

Student progress, coursework, and grading data remain stored and accessible within CodeHS.

Teachers can continue viewing student progress and grades directly within CodeHS.

If assistance is needed, our team is happy to help teachers access or export classroom data within CodeHS.
