AI Grading Rubrics provide a flexible and structured way to evaluate assignments on CodeHS with AI Grading. You can create and edit custom grading criteria tailored to your preferences.

Edit the AI Grading Rubric for a CodeHS Assignment by creating a Forked copy, or add your own rubric to a custom assignment. Adding and editing AI Rubrics can be done directly from the Assignments page.

Edit an AI Grading Rubric

When editing a CodeHS Assignment, first create a forked copy of the assignment to edit the AI Rubric. (For custom assignments, start at step 3):

  1. On the Assignments page, click the three dots next to an assignment.

  2. Select Remix > choose Fork Assignment.
