Important Note on Arkansas Introduction to Computer Science

Get started teaching Arkansas Introduction to Computer Science for the 2025-26 school year

Arkansas Introduction to Computer Science is a CodeHS course that is 100% aligned to state course standards. The entire course will be completed by September 15th, 2025, but teachers can begin teaching the course now.

The first four modules of this course are available and ready to use with students. To add Arkansas Introduction to Computer Science to your courses:

  1. Go to your Courses app and click the Create New Course button.

  2. Select Choose Course Template to use a course from the CodeHS Course Catalog.

  3. Search for “Arkansas Introduction to Computer Science (2025)” and select the course.

  4. Enter a name for your Course. For example, “Arkansas Introduction to Computer Science”

You can then assign this course to sections and start teaching with this course. When the full Arkansas Introduction to Computer Science course is released, the remaining course content will be automatically added and assigned to any existing sections.
