The Certifications app on CodeHS is where you can view student exam results and reports, proctor students during certification exams, view your vouchers, and more. You can find more information about our certification exams here.

To access the Certifications app, click Certifications under the Curriculum category in the left-hand navigation menu:

The Certifications app features 6 tools, which can be accessed by the tabs at the top of the page: Certifications Overview, Results Summary, Topic Summary, Topic Reports, Student Reports, and Proctor Dashboard.

In the Certifications Overview tool, you can view your voucher code, redeem the code and unlock an exam, test out what a demo certification exam would be like, view your exam certificate, and view information about your previous certification exam attempts.

In the Vouchers section of the Certifications Overview tool, you can view the voucher code and the number of vouchers redeemed for that code.

In the Expired Vouchers section, you can view vouchers that have expired and can no longer be used to redeem certifications. To the right of each expired voucher, you will find buttons to view the Voucher Results or Topic Summary reports. You can also click the +/- button next to the Expired Vouchers section to show/hide your expired vouchers.

In the Certification Exams section of the Certifications Overview tool, you can redeem the voucher code and unlock the exam. Students won't see the voucher code itself, although once you share the code with them they will be able to redeem the voucher and unlock the exam on their own My Certifications page. In the Certification Exam's section, you can also view a demo exam:

In the My Certifications section of the Certifications Overview tool, you can click to view your certificates for any passed certification exams. This document is what a student will see if they pass their certification exam.

In the Certification Attempts section of the Certifications Overview tool, you can view more information about previous exams you have taken such as the exam name, date, and your results. You can click "View" to see the status of your exam results.

In the Results Summary tool, you can view a summary of the results for all certification exams across all sections. Use the Section drop-down menu at the top left of the page to switch between sections to see their respective results.

The top part of this tool provides broad information, including the number of exams taken by the section, the number of exams passed, exams pending review, and a breakdown of which exams have been taken. In the bottom part of the tool, the table displays individual student information such as the specific exams each student took, their start date, current exam status, a clickable graphic breakdown of their certification exam results, and a button to view their certificate if they passed.

In the Topic Summary tool, you can view a single summary of topic results for a certification exam. Use the Section and Exam drop-down menus at the top left of the page to switch between different sections or certification exams to see their topic summaries.

The top part of the tool displays the total number of exams taken and the average exam score. In the bottom part of the tool, the table shows how each section performed based on the percentage of correct answers for each topic.

The Topic Reports tool shows how each student in a section performed on a specific exam topic. Use the Section and Exam drop-down menus at the top left of the page to switch between different sections or certification exams. Additionally, you can use the Topic drop-down menu at the top center of the page to switch between exam topics and see each student's performance by specific topic.

The top part of the tool displays the total number of exams taken and the average exam score. In the bottom part of the tool, the table shows how individual students performed based on the percentage of correct answers for each topic.

The Student Reports tool shows a specific student's exam performance by topic. Use the Section and Student drop-down menus at the top left of the page to switch between sections and students to view their reports.

The top part of the tool provides a summary, including the exam taken, its status, the student's overall score (percentage correct), and the exam date. In the bottom part of the tool, the table shows the percentage of correct answers for each exam topic.

The Proctor Dashboard tool shows the status of a student's exam, their progress, the start time, the end time, and the duration.

Once your student unlocks their certification exam and starts it, their exam information displayed in this tool will update in real time:
