Students are able to write and run their code for the AP CSA Free Response Questions during the 2020 exam. Students may choose to use the CodeHS Sandbox to write their code and then submit their answers to the College Board.

Students have two options for submitting their code to College Board. These have both been tested on the College Board site.

  • Copy their code from CodeHS and paste into College Board's website
  • Download their code as a .txt file from CodeHS and submit to College Board as an attachment

How to submit when logged out:

  1. Visit this link https://codehs.com/editor/new/java-main to create a new Java program, or go to "Write Code" then select a Java program.
  2. Option 1: Copy & paste the code from your program to the College Board site (Note: The formatting will be preserved.)
  3. Option 2: Go to the More tab in the CodeHS Editor, click Download then “download code as a .txt file," and upload this file to the College Board site
