Complete steps 1-3 here if not done so already before continuing

Import the .imscc File into your Canvas Course

From your Canvas course, click Import Existing Content, choose Common Cartridge 1.x package as the Content Type, and choose the .imscc file as the Source.

To import a portion of your course, you’ll want to select specific content. Canvas instructions here.

It might take a few minutes for this to complete. Once the upload is complete you will need to select the content to import by using the “select content” button.

➜ Select Content

Then you will select which modules OR assignments you want to import. You should only select one. *Note: You should only Module Import if ALL assignments within the Module selected have not been imported previously

  1. Module Import: If you import a module, it will import all of the assignments within each module selected. You do not need to check the “course settings” button.

  2. Assignment Import: If you import selected assignments, it will only import the assignments selected. You do not need to check the “course settings” button
