After creating your CodeHS account, you will need to secure your account by verifying your email address. Note that you will not have access to CodeHS resources (for example Solution Guides, Next Gen Lesson Plans, and many more) until your account is verified. Good news is that the verification process is super quick! 

Once you have verified your account, if you are on the Paid Pro version contact your CodeHS Account Manager to get all of your sections set up with the CodeHS Pro teacher tools.

When you signed up for CodeHS, an email was sent to the email address you provided during the sign up process. That email contains a link you simply need to click to be verified. Don't see the email? No worries. Sign in to CodeHS and you will see this banner:

If you press the "Resend Verification Email" button, the verification email will be resent to you. If you provided the wrong email address or you no longer have access to that email address, click the "Change Email" button on the banner and you will be able to change your email address. The email you receive will look something like this:

Of course, your link will be unique to you, so don't try to go to the one in this example because it will not work. Check your email for your own unique link. All you need to do is click on the link. Note that you need to be logged in to your CodeHS account in order for the link to work. When you click the link you will be directed to a page that looks like this:

When you see that page, you have successfully verified your email address and secured your account!

NOTE: You will have to be logged in to your CodeHS account to verify through the link. You also cannot verify another person’s account. For example, if Mr. Karel wants to verify Mrs. Tracy’s account, he will need to be logged in as Mrs. Tracy in order for the link to work and verify her account.
