If you use Blackboard for student grades, you can export your Gradebook as a CSV for upload to Blackboard.

  1. Navigate to your Gradebook

  2. Click Export

  3. Select either Blackboard [Original Pts] or Blackboard [Percentage]

Original Points vs. Percentage

Exporting original points will export grades as raw scores. For example, if a student scored 4/5, the export will show 4. If they scored 1/1, it will show 1.

Please note: Blackboard automatically scores all assignments out of 100 points, so you'll need to update the total points possible in Blackboard after uploading grades.

Exporting percentages will export grades as percentages of possible points. For example, if a student scored 4/5, the export will show 80. If they scored 1/1, it will show 100.
