On CodeHS Free and Pro, you have the ability to grade a single Assignment through the Grade tab in the Code Editor and from the Assignments app. 

Steps to Grade a Single Assignment from the Code Editor

  1. Go to the Roster app and select a student.

  2. Click on an Assignment > click the Grade tab.

  3. From the Grade tab, you can select Award Full Credit, select Needs Work, give a custom score, add comments, or give the student a zero.

Pro Feature

With CodeHS Pro, you can quickly grade an assignment for multiple students from the Assignments app. 

Steps to Grade a Single Assignment from the Assignment App

  1. Go to the Assignments app.

  2. Navigate to the assignment you want to grade.

  3. Click on the dark blue Grading Icon.

  4. Select the student(s) you want to grade and then submit the student grade: you can award full credit, give zero, reset code, or navigate to Fast Grade.

From the Gradebook

You can also access this single assignment grading page directly by clicking the By Assignment tab or the Assignment name in the Gradebook.

You can switch the single assignment you are grading in the By Assignment tab by utilizing the Assignment drop-down menu and selecting a different assignment to grade from the list.
