Accessing the Assessment

Your teacher will make a LOGIC assessment available for you to complete. Depending on how your teacher assigns the assessment, it may appear on your student dashboard or open directly on your screen.

If the assessment appears on your student dashboard, click the blue Start button to open the assessment.

💡 Tip: You can access your student dashboard from anywhere in CodeHS by clicking the CodeHS icon in the top-left corner of the page:

Note: After clicking "Start Assessment," you will not be able to access other pages in CodeHS.

When you finish the assessment, click Submit Assessment at the bottom of the page.

Viewing Your Results

After completing a LOGIC assessment, you can click LOGIC Results from the left-hand navigation menu:

On the LOGIC Results page, you will see a report that breaks down your performance by topic. This report can help you understand which concepts you know well and which topics may need more practice.

Accessing LOGIC exams through Canvas, Schoology, or another LMS

If you normally access CodeHS through Canvas, Schoology, Buzz, or another learning platform, follow these steps to access your LOGIC exam:

  1. Open CodeHS from your learning platform. You can either:

    • Click Launch CodeHS from the sidebar, if available, or

    • Click any CodeHS assignment.

  2. You’ll be automatically logged in to CodeHS.

  3. If you opened an assignment, click the CodeHS icon in the top-left corner to return to your student dashboard.

  4. Depending on how your teacher assigned the assessment, your LOGIC exam may appear on your student dashboard or open directly. If it appears on your dashboard, click the blue Start button to begin.
