Common Causes & Troubleshooting Steps

Reduce Large File Uploads

The most common cause of this save error is uploading a file that is too large for the project. Images, audio files, or other assets larger than 2.5 MB may prevent the program from saving successfully.

If you recently uploaded a file before encountering this error, try removing the file or replacing it with a smaller version. Then, try saving the program again.

Check Your Internet Connection

An unstable or interrupted internet connection may prevent your program from saving successfully.

Try refreshing the page and confirming your internet connection is working properly. If possible, switch to a different network to determine whether the issue is related to your connection.

Workarounds

Download a Copy of the Program

If you're unable to save your program, download a copy to your computer to avoid losing your work while troubleshooting.

You can do this by clicking Download on the save error message, or by clicking File > Save to your computer from the top navigation menu:

You can reopen your downloaded program at any point by clicking File > Load from your computer and selecting the downloaded file.
