Navigating to the Progress Reports
The Progress dashboard provides live tracking of your class's overall performance and lesson completion. With visual indicators, you can evaluate progress at a glance by seeing each student's exact assignment status. To access this page, navigate to the left-hand menu of your CodeHop Teacher Homepage and select Reports > Progress.
Using the Grading Key
The Grading Key provides a quick, visual breakdown of your students' assignment statuses and grading stages. Use the Track student submission toggle to customize how you track progress and manage submissions on your dashboard. Enabling this feature allows students to resubmit their work.
When Track student submission is "Off":

Teacher Marked Complete / Teal: The assignment has been reviewed and graded by the teacher
Opened / Green: The student has opened the assignment
Unopened / Grey: The student has not opened the assignment
Blue Circle: The student has opened the assignment most recently
When Track student submission is "On":

Teacher Marked Complete / Teal: The assignment has been reviewed and graded by the teacher
Submitted / Green: The student submitted the assignment for teacher grading
Opened / Yellow: The student has opened the assignment
Unopened / Grey: The student has not opened the assignment
Blue Circle: The student has opened the assignment most recently
Edit Assignment Completion
The Edit Progress button provides you with full control over your students' assignments by allowing you to override assignment statuses. This tool can be used to help you grade and track offline assignments that don’t have submittable components.
Once you click the Edit Progress button, the dashboard enters an active "Editing..." mode, and a green banner will appear at the top of the screen.
Assignment completion can be marked either on an individual student basis or in bulk by the entire lesson.
Editing Completion Status by Individual Assignment
To mark a student's assignment complete, click on an individual student's assignment within the lesson column. Once selected, the indicator will change to a teal bubble with a check mark inside a dotted circle status, showing that the change is pending and ready to be saved.
