Connecting a CodeHS Section to Cyber Range

Learn how to integrate an existing CodeHS section to Cyber Range to generate student accounts, track progress, and pass grades from the Cyber Range to the CodeHS gradebook.

Cyber Range is intended to support the AP Cybersecurity Course. To get started, follow the instructions in this article to create a new Section using the AP Cybersecurity course.

How to Connect a Section to Cyber Range

  1. Navigate to your Sections app

  2. Click on the Settings tab

  3. Use the dropdown to select your Section

  4. Click the Create button next to "Create on Cyber Range"

Sections linked to Cyber Range will be marked with a Cyber Range shield icon:

In Cyber Range, CodeHS-connected Sections will be listed as a Cyber Range Classroom under the Classes tab:

Creating Student Accounts and Updating your Roster

To create student Cyber Range accounts or update your Cyber Range classroom roster:

  1. Navigate to your Section's Roster

  2. Click on the Sync With Cyber Range button

Accessing the Cyber Range

Once your Section is connected to Cyber Range > follow the steps in this article for information on Accessing Cyber Range.
