Overview
Artificial Intelligence (AI) is reshaping the world — and classrooms are no exception. As AI tools become increasingly integrated into daily life, it’s more important than ever that educators feel equipped to teach, guide, and model the responsible use of this powerful technology.
To support teachers across all grade levels and subject areas, CodeHS is launching the 2026–27 AI Literacy Teaching Cohort, a professional learning experience designed to make AI education approachable, relevant, and engaging for the entire K–12 community.
This updated program builds on the success of prior CodeHS AI professional development offerings, creating a truly K–12 experience that blends foundational AI concepts, creative applications, and pedagogical strategies. Educators will explore how AI works, learn how to apply it meaningfully in their classrooms, and discuss the ethical and societal considerations that come with it.
Whether you teach elementary art, middle school science, or high school English, this cohort will help you confidently bring AI literacy to your students.
