Overview

The Typing platform in CodeHS helps students improve their keyboarding skills through guided lessons and interactive practice. Teachers can enable Typing for specific sections, allowing students to access lessons and track their progress while teachers monitor results.

Setting up Typing

  1. Once you are given access to Typing, you'll have the option to click Typing in the left-hand navigation menu under Curriculum

  2. You’ll see a button to Enable Typing For Section if it hasn’t already been enabled

Once Typing is enabled, students in that section will automatically see Typing as an option in their left-hand navigation menu.

Note: You can always disable Typing for the section later via the section settings.
