Overview

The Typing platform in CodeHop helps elementary students improve their keyboarding skills through guided lessons and interactive practice. Teachers can enable Typing for specific sections, allowing students to access lessons and track their progress while teachers monitor results.

Setting up Typing in CodeHop

  1. Create or open a CodeHop section

  2. Select the keyboarding icon in the top right corner

    1. Alternatively, click Typing in the left-hand navigation menu

  3. You’ll see a button to Enable Typing For Section if it hasn’t already been enabled

Once Typing is enabled, students in that section will automatically see Typing as an option.

Note: You can always disable Typing for the section later via the section settings.
