This article is for teachers piloting College Board’s AP Career Kickstart™ Cybersecurity courses in the 2025-26 school year. While CodeHS does not have AP Career Kickstart™ courses for this pilot year, teachers have the option to use content from our cybersecurity course pathway with their students for the pilot.

Due to the closed nature of the College Board pilot, CodeHS does not have access to the course frameworks and standards. Instead, we have reviewed the AP Career Kickstart™ Instructional Overview and mapped lessons from our Fundamentals of Cybersecurity and Advanced Cybersecurity courses to the course topics for Networking Fundamentals and Cybersecurity Fundamentals.

From the linked pages above, teachers can preview and assign lessons to students in their AP Career Kickstart™ pilot courses. It’s important to note that CodeHS has not reviewed course standards, so pilot teachers should review lessons to evaluate alignment to standards before using them with students.
