Access solution guides or references for assignments

All verified teachers - both Free and Pro- have access to the assignment answers! There are multiple ways to view assignment solutions, including through the Assignments page, in the Solutions Tool, from the Resources page, and in the Code Editor. Pro teachers also have access to the Problem Guides.

View Solutions from the Assignments Page

  1. Go to the Assignments tool and select the Course/Section you'd like to view from the dropdown at the top left:

  2. Click the Module and Lesson title to expand the view, then click the "..." next to the assignment for which you'd like to view the solution.

  3. Within the menu that pops up, click Solution and another page will open showing the assignment solution:

View Solution Guides via the Resources App

Under Curriculum in the lefthand navigation menu, click on Resources. On the following page, click the Solution Guides tab, then use the dropdown menus at the top left to select the section and assignment you'd like to view:

View Solution Guides via the Solutions Tool

This option allows you to see the solutions for all assignments in your course, including any additional materials you've added.

  1. From the left sidebar, select Solutions

  2. Use the dropdown menus at the top left to select the section and assignment you'd like to view:

View Solutions in the Code Editor

While viewing an assignment in the Code Editor, click the More tab in the top right corner > Solution:

View Solutions Using CodeHS Problem Guides

Problem Guides help teachers access the information they need to provide support directly to their students and help them reach the correct solution. In addition to Exercise solutions, each Problem Guide breaks down the motivation behind the problem and offers answers to common questions and errors. Problem Guides are also printable.

To access Problem Guides from the Assignments page, choose the green light bulb button next to the desired assignment. They can also be accessed from the Resources page by clicking on the Problem Guides tab:
