If student privacy is a concern, students do not need to use working email addresses to sign up with CodeHS

The email address a student signs up with simply serves as their login username.  So, these email addresses don't need to be real, working emails (ex: students could use student1@chs.edu, student2@chs.edu etc).

Also, once they've created their accounts students can update their username to anything of their choosing, and usernames don't need to follow the email address format.
